Love & Light Entertainment

The heart of the night, mixed off the room, hosted with intent.

DJ/MC is the heart of what we do. It runs from the first wireless microphone at the ceremony through the last song of the night, and it is the same person on the booth, the mic, and the dance floor. We mix to your guests instead of running a preset list, and we host with cues, not catchphrases.

Ceremony sound that carries, even outside.

Wireless microphones for the officiant and a clean handheld for readings. Music cued at the right moments. Levels set so vows carry, even outside.

Vocal MC for cues, not catchphrases.

An MC is there to frame the night for your guests, not to perform for the room. We confirm names and pronunciations in advance, we coordinate cues with photo, video, and the venue, and we brief the people speaking ahead of time so nothing feels rushed or surprising. Announcements are warm and easy to follow, and the wedding stays yours, not ours.

What a Love & Light DJ/MC actually runs.

  • Ceremony sound. Wireless mics, music cued cleanly, levels set so vows carry, even outside.
  • Grand entrances. Names and pronunciations confirmed in advance, cued with photo, video, and the venue so the entrance lands with the energy you actually want.
  • Toasts and announcements. Speakers briefed ahead of time, microphones handed off cleanly, each moment framed without being taken over.
  • Dance floor energy. Mixed one song at a time, read off the room, with the night feeling like one continuous moment instead of disconnected tracks.
  • Dinner and cocktail hour. Music kept at a volume that lets people have the conversations they came to have, while the room still feels alive.
  • Final moments. Last dance, grand exit, walk to the car: the closing is planned on purpose, with the song you want.

How we plan the night with you.

  • Discovery call. A short conversation about what you want the day to feel like, plus a walk-through of how we work.
  • Music and timeline. We capture the songs that matter, the songs that absolutely should not play, and the timeline beats we will protect.
  • Final meeting. Two to three weeks out, we lock the run-of-show, pronunciations, and every cue.
  • On the day. Early load-in, sound check before guests arrive, calm execution from the first mic to the last dance.

Frequently asked questions.

Do you take requests on the night?
Yes, within reason. We read the floor, and we balance requests against where the energy is going. If a request will derail the room, we will quietly hold it for a better moment.
Can we send you a do-not-play list?
Please do. The do-not-play list is just as important as the must-play list, and we treat both with the same care.
Do you MC and DJ at the same time?
Yes. One person on the booth and the mic keeps the night feeling continuous. The MC reads the room because the MC is the room.
What if our ceremony is offsite or outdoors?
We bring battery-powered speakers and wireless mics for offsite or outdoor ceremonies. We will scout the location with you in advance.
